Units, finally: IU vs mg vs mcg vs "units on the syringe"
The thing nobody explains: "units" on an insulin syringe are a VOLUME marking, not a dose of anything. mg/mcg are mass. Reconstitution is what connects them. Worked example in the next post.

The "units = volume, not dose" point is the single thing that unblocks most beginners. Great post.
